JellyPeek
Play screen
A screen of their own, made for banging on
When mum or dad sits down at the computer,
the little one reaches for the keyboard too.
Instead of saying “no” and pulling those hands away,
we wanted to make one screen where banging away is exactly right.
Any key pops out a jelly,
and there is no wrong place to press.
The child feels the screen answer every move,
and the grown-up gets a moment to breathe.
No install and no account needed.
Open a browser and it starts. Signing in is optional, and only for grown-ups.
Tap together with your child
and take your time discovering what they enjoy.
Random Mix stays free, and the jelly hunt refills its free tries every day.
Screen lock, fullscreen, sound settings and the jelly book are free too.
You can start right away without signing in.
The one who only hunts cars,
the one who lights up at dinosaurs,
the one who keeps pressing number keys.
Once a favourite appears,
JellyPeek gets a little more fun.
Cars · Dinosaurs · Princess · Space · Ocean · Numbers · Animals · Food · Halloween · Christmas
Pick a theme and only its jellies pour across the screen.
Every locked theme opens for 30 free seconds first.
A jelly hides in one of three capsules.
A tap opens one of them.
Any choice is a good choice.
There is no miss and no wrong mark.
It is a small game of choosing and waiting, all on their own.
Cars on a car day, dinosaurs on a dinosaur day.
In the number theme, a keyboard shows the digit your child pressed;
on a phone or tablet every tap brings out a number jelly.
Every jelly found goes into the book by itself.
Ones you have met show how many you collected;
ones you have not stay as silhouettes.
“What did we get today?” is a nice thing to ask together.
Locking the screen hides the menus
so little hands cannot change the settings.
To unlock, hold the button at the top right for one second.
Hiding the address bar and browser UI
makes it harder to wander off to another screen.
Sound can be turned off completely at any time.
JellyPeek is not built to keep a child in front of a screen.
Press a few keys together and say it out loud:
“a bear”, “a car”, “you pressed a 3”.
Even a short while is better spent reacting and talking together
than watching a screen alone.
Every jelly on the screen is drawn by us.
